Our Staff

The DZ team, we are so fortunate to have such a tight knit team. Everyone gets along so well both during and after work. This is a huge benefit to be able to deliver the quality and overall experience to our customers. Each individual brings a different element and we (DZ Carpentry) would not be able to deliver the creative quality of workmanship without each persons' commitment and professionalism.

Luke

Luke has been with us since May 2014. We realized very quickly that Luke’s future was as much more than an employee. Luke is one of the brightest talents we have had the fortune to work with and to have as part of our team. In 2020 Luke married our Daughter Devynn, about which we could not be more happy and proud. Our visions of Luke’s future have flourished, and he is a very active part of the business with dreams to continue the Company as time progresses. Luke has a fresh outlook, with great feedback, ideas and concepts pushing our Business into the future. Luke obtained his General Carpenter certification in 2018. His commitment, positive attitude and demeanor continues to strengthen the overall foundation of the Business. 

Mike (Piker)

Mike came to us in July of 2008, from a Manufacturing background. We are so happy Mike has decided to change careers and is part of our team. He is extremely dependable and can always be counted on. There is no doubt Mike has found his path with Carpentry. Mike is a great leader for his fellow employees. Mike’s commitment to the Business is impeccable and helps to show existing and new employees the true value of commitment.

Luke Zorgdrager

Luke started with us through High school Co-op. We realized Luke had great potential at an early stage and we are delighted to have Luke as our newest Apprentice in July 2023. Luke is extremely respectful, takes instruction very well and retains knowledge. Luke has proved himself to be extremely valuable with his skill set, commitment and desire to deliver the best possible. We are very excited and look forward to Luke's growth with us as he gains his General Carpentry certification.
