Our Staff

The DZ team, we are so fortunate to have such a tight knit team. Everyone gets along so well both during and after work. This is a huge benefit to be able to deliver the quality and overall experience to our customers. Each individual brings a different element and we (DZ Carpentry) would not be able to deliver the creative quality of workmanship without each persons' commitment and professionalism.

Luke Zorgdrager

Luke started with us through High school Co-op. We realized Luke had great potential at an early stage and we are delighted to have Luke as our newest Apprentice in July 2023. Luke is extremely respectful, takes instruction very well and retains knowledge. We are very excited and look forward to Luke's growth with us as he gains his General Carpentry certification.

Craig (Will) - Leadhand

Since 2008, Craig has gained experience as an Apprentice with us and then gained his General Carpentry License. He is Dave's left hand so to speak. We challenge Craig daily with tasks and expectations, which he never disappoints. We are so fortunate to have Craig with us. Craig is continuing to gain experience as a worker but also managing jobs and people. Craig has the perfect attitude and demeanor to get the most out of fellow workers, as well as discussing projects with customers. Very respectful and always positive feed back from everyone Craig is involved with.

 

Luke (Hermie)

Luke has been with us since May of 2014. Luke is one of the brightest young talents I have had the fortune to work with and have on our team. He has a fresh outlook and gives great feedback with ideas and concepts. He shows his commitment on a daily basis with a positive attitude and demeanor. Luke obtained his General Carpentry License in August of 2018.

Mike (Piker)

Mike came to us in July of 2008, from a Manufacturing background. We are so happy Mike has decided to change careers and is part of our team. He is extremely dependable and can always be counted on. There is no doubt Mike has found his path with Carpentry. Mike is a great leader for his fellow employees.

Devynn

Devynn joined the team in December of 2017 as the inventory and website administrator. She recently graduated from King's University College obtaining her Honours Bachelors of Arts in June of 2018. Being Dave and Sheri's daughter, Devynn has been around the business all her life and is more than happy to be a part of the team.
